(dress: H&M, sneakers: Leeda, backpack: Matt&Nat)
It’s been already 2 months since I said goodbye to my life back in Europe, sale all my furniture, left the apartment/ friends/ everyday life, and move to Chicago with a guy I met half year ago on Tinder.
Crazy? Oh, well. It didn’t felt like that back than, but putting this words “down on the paper” right now, makes me realised HOW crazy it actually was.
My life has always been like some kind of soap opera. Just, time to time, the old actors are being replaced by some new ones. (It is similar to Beverly Hills. Remember when Brenda left for “studying abroad” and nobody has seen her ever again?) Sometimes it seems like that super fake laughter from old American TV serials is the only part missing.
So welcome to the new season! (Yes, I’m still riming as the main character – thank you very much.) It’s the new chapter of my life for sure and also for my (ehm.. shall we call it blog?) as well! To write my blog in English has always occurred for me as something not only superficial, but also pretty embarrassing. I’m super good in faking my accent but faking grammar is something different. You cant trick that annoying monster, even if you want to. For me writing things down is completely different experience. Now, everybody can easily track every mistake I’ve made, and God knows what kind of torture this must be for the native speakers. But, I’m writing anyway. Or at least I’m going to try. (Get ready for new stories from Chicago, my thoughts about American style of living, and I m not going to skip also relationships and other different topics.) For those, who don’t want to see me struggling with my grammar and still want to remember me as the decent writer/human being, please follow my column at weare/. Or you can get more fashion business information from my other project Fashion MAP, which is full of great stuff about local Czech and Slovak Fashion.

The main reason, why I’m all about to write this blog in English, isn’t because of an “international” overlap. Not at all. It’s simple about me practicing my English skills. After all, writing another blog in my native language seems to me like a waste of time. And that’s exactly what I m not about to do anymore.
